Sony Renews the User Interface in Lollipop

Sony’s Android-customized interface get a breath of fresh air in the new Lollipop-version. See the first pictures here.

Leaked photos give a little hint of how the user interface on the Sony-smartphones and tablets are going to appear in the upcoming update to the Lollipop, and there are big changes on the way.

The user interface has long been grey and slightly dull in Sony’s version of Android. But it belongs up in Android 5.0.2 Lollipop. Instead, it will be through-color theme of white and blue.

It points to the recent photos, which come to light in connection with a rumored Sony Xperia Z4 Dual. A total of 4 screenshots have appeared, which displays the following screens:

-On the phone
-Settings
-Clock
-Phone.

Google’s new design language in Lollipop, Material Design, is thus retained in Sony’s new user interface, but they have still managed to put their own little mark on the design of modified icons and new color combinations around.

Whether it is the final version we already have seen of Sony’s Lollipop-version, remains to be seen.
