The food is very important point during pregnancy , a balanced and healthy diet is very important to have a healthy pregnancy and to avoid excessive weight gain. During pregnancy, food plays a very important role in the perfect growth and development of your baby.

What Not to Eat in Pregnancy

A pregnant woman can and should eat a little of everything, but with weight and measure, she should take special care with some foods, especially when made out of home and if the pre-natal tests accuse non- toxoplasmosis immunity .

Feeding Tips for a Pregnant Woman

Decrease the total amount of fat ingested, prefer to make cooked or grilled foods.

Avoid eating too much candy.

Choose white meats such as chicken, turkey and reaping.

Avoid drinking carbonated and caffeinated beverages.

Alcoholic beverages should be avoided in their entirety.

Prefer to eat fruit and vegetables, always well cooked and washed.

What Not to Eat in Pregnancy

Raw Eggs

Raw or underdone eggs should be avoided during pregnancy, eggs may contain salmonellae which are very harmful to health, yet pay attention to foods that are prepared with raw eggs such as mayonnaise and some candies such as chocolate mousse.

Raw Fish and Seafood

Raw fish and shellfish may be carriers of listeria, salmonella, hepatitis A, and mercury that harms the baby’s nervous system.

Raw meat and sausages

Raw meat and sausages such as ham, ham and ham must be avoided, especially chicken and pork meat that can lead to many diseases and impair the formation of the baby. Always cook the meat very well before eating it.

Unpasteurized Milk and Cheese

Milk and unpasteurized cheeses should also be avoided during your pregnancy. Choose hard-pasteurized and hard-cured cheeses

Avoid eating salads outside the home.

Wash hands several times a day, especially after stirring uncooked food.
